Cobbler Creek Out of School Hours Care and Vacation Care was established in 1993. We are located on the premises of Golden Grove Primary School. We aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children are able to learn through play.
We are a large service offering high quality care to all our children and their families. Our centre is licensed for 85 children Before School Care, 135 children After School Care and 115 children Vacation Care.
Our OSHC cares for children from Reception to Year 6, as we no longer have the capacity for Kindy children….

We recognise that children arrive at OSHC with different needs, interests and energy levels. We offer calm spaces where children can relax and recharge, alongside opportunities for active play, creativity and connection. Our flexible and engaging environments respond to and support each child’s individual needs.
We believe childhood is a time for play, leisure, friendship and learning. Through a balance of child-led play and thoughtfully planned, educator-supported experiences, children are encouraged to make choices, develop skills, explore their interests and share their ideas. Children’s voices and preferences actively influence our program and environment. Children’s safety and wellbeing are central to everything we do. We listen to children, uphold their rights and create environments where they feel safe, heard and empowered.
Our shared values — treat others with kindness, respect each other, use safe hands and safe feet, and respect our space — guide our everyday interactions and help create a positive community where children feel safe, supported, valued and welcome.
We build strong, respectful partnerships with families through open communication and collaboration to support the best outcomes for children. We value our close connection with the school and wider community and work together to provide continuity of care and support for children and families.
We celebrate diversity and respond to the individual strengths, identities, cultures and needs of every child. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where all children, families and educators feel respected, supported and represented. Children can see their identities, ideas, creativity and learning reflected throughout our spaces.
We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of this land and honour their continuing connection to Country, culture and community.
We recognise our educators as skilled professionals and value their knowledge, relationships and commitment. Ongoing reflection, collaboration, professional learning and development support the continuous improvement of our practice and service.
